Lake Vermilion is one of the country's most productive fisheries of Walleyes and Muskies.  The lake is also good for smallmouth bass, crappies, and northern pike. However, this does not mean that fishing on Lake Vermilion is always easy.  In fact, at times fishing can be downright difficult, but then, if it were always easy, where would the challenge be!
